Terms of Use
1. Our services
The Manchester Women's Clinic ("the Clinic", "we", "us") provides private medical consultations, procedures and related services in Manchester, England. Services are provided by our doctor, a registered medical practitioner with the General Medical Council (GMC).
By booking an appointment or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not proceed with booking.
We are not an NHS service. Our services are provided on a private, fee-paying basis. Nothing in these terms affects your right to access NHS care.
2. Booking an appointment
Appointments can be booked online, by email, or by telephone. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation from us. By booking, you confirm that:
- The information you have provided is accurate and complete
- You are aged 18 or over (or are accompanied by a parent or guardian)
- You understand the nature of the appointment and services being booked
We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking at our discretion — for example, if we determine that the requested service is not clinically appropriate. In such cases, any payment received will be refunded in full.
Appointment times are given in good faith but may occasionally need to be adjusted at short notice. We will notify you as soon as possible if this occurs.
3. Payment
Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept all major credit and debit cards and bank transfer.
Fees are as listed on our Fees page at the time of booking. We reserve the right to update our fees; any increase will not apply to appointments already confirmed.
Fees for procedures include the device cost and any materials used. Medication costs, laboratory fees, and private pharmacy charges are separate and payable directly to the relevant provider.
We can provide an itemised receipt for insurance purposes. We are not responsible for any decision made by your insurer regarding reimbursement.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another patient.
- Cancellations with 48+ hours' notice: full refund or free rescheduling
- Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the appointment fee may apply
- No-shows (failure to attend without notice): the full appointment fee may be charged
We understand that emergencies happen. Cancellation fees are applied at our discretion and we will always consider the circumstances.
In the event that we need to cancel your appointment, we will give as much notice as possible and offer a full refund or reschedule at no charge.
5. Patient conduct
We expect all patients to treat our staff with courtesy and respect. We reserve the right to end an appointment or decline future bookings if a patient behaves in a manner that is threatening, abusive or inappropriate.
You are responsible for providing accurate medical information. Withholding relevant information may affect the safety and appropriateness of your care.
6. Liability
We provide services with reasonable skill and care in accordance with accepted medical standards. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter where exclusion is prohibited by law.
We are not liable for:
- Outcomes that are a recognised risk of the treatment or procedure and which were explained to you beforehand
- Any decision you make in relation to your care after being fully informed of your options
- Any loss arising from information you provided that was inaccurate or incomplete
Note: The liability provisions in these terms require solicitor review before publication. The above does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such.
7. Website use

8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
